I'm entering CGTrader's competition for 2018 with a few pieces.
This one is for Object Design concept art.

The Soulswords are unique weapons bound to the soul of its user. Some are symbiotic, others parasitic or even vampiric in nature.
Each of these 4 swords are unique and strange. What follows is a lot of info. ;)

Colhever - the sword of Agneferi of Pruhsch, in the cold wastes of the southern lands. Agneferi, daughter of Mideld and Rhaga the wolf, was a formidable warrior. Colhever is the essence of Rhaga bound to Agneferi and the blade by the sorcery of Mideld Cerulis.
Colhever steals life from its victims and channels that into Agneferi, such that none knows her true age. But she must seek victims so often at the bidding of her hungry blade. The blue energy is the outward appearance of the Rhaga essence.

Azmenahl - From the outer realms not seen by mortal eyes comes the dreadful sword Azmenahl. Little is known of its deeper origins other than it is the now physical form of the entity Azmen'Ahl'Hevenzhedys.
Azmenahl does not simply kill its victims. Those unfortunate enough to fall beneath this blade become trapped within, stuck forever in what is assumed to be some twisted pocket dimension within the essence of the blade entity.
Azmenahl chooses its user and in due course discards or consumes them. Its constant gift are terrible dreams of outer realms and knowledge of things no one should ever know.

Balenorn - scourge of the noble and high, the dark blade was forged from the very material of the far realm world of Yil, a benighted terror landscape chastised by the eye of Yg, the infernal star that burns that world. The spine of Menon, fiercest of the children of Yil, was fused to the dark blade by the Soreoman along with the spirit of Menon to form the mighty and terrible Balenorn.
One must be of immense power to even hold Balenorn, let alone sustain regular usage. Balenorn burns hot and few can restrain the blade's spirit enough to wield it with skill. It is currently held by Ilgramond of the High Planes, as he wages the long war on the Kideth'Mel of the outer spans.

Vermis Infernum - Wyrm Fyre, is perhaps the most unique sword to be encountered in the Prime Planes. It is the being Oleus Scurfaladis, the green wyrm and the dracowizard of Pehnag.
In his own plane, Oleus the green wyrm is an immensely powerful wizard fighting an alien foe of colossal power. Seeking some way to battle and defeat this menace Oleus searched far realms and outer planes, but found a surprising ally in a mere mortal from Colchis in the Prime Planes.
While in the Prime Plane Oleus appears as the sentient sword Vermis Infernum. He made a pact with the young mortal man Edwald of Colchis such that Oleus would be bound to him as his weapon in the Prime Plane if Edwald would be bound to Oleus as a weapon on his own plane to battle against the alien menace. The human tenacity and creativity of Edwald, as the Pehnag weapon Wapehnqa the bright, has so far proven a vicious opponent for the alien menace on Pehnag.
As such Oleus Vermis Infernum and Edwald Wapehnqa are bound to each other over immense spans of time and space and planes of existence. And as such they are unique and wondrous.

[From the notes of Luthien Crabnuckel of Edgewood in Olde Shirain of Luma - Delver, Seeker, Traveler]

Hope you all enjoy that. Cheers. :)

Azmenahl's design looks like it was inspired by Soul Edge.
