Back Stair Street [Revisited]

This piece started life as pencil on 8.5 x 11 paper in 2015, then picked up again in 2017 but had to stretch on to another piece to get the top roofs to fit. Then tweaked some in photoshop. The back map is also pencil on 8.5 x 11 paper, a redraw from an older sketch.

Four years ago [and a day] I posted the original drawing for Back Stair Street. That was 2013. The actual work had been drawn in 2007, but I wasn't posting to DA back then. So in a sense, for me, this is a decade on from that earlier work. Sort of a coming back around which is an interesting thing.

When I first did Back Stair Street, it was just a stand alone piece; not tied into the whole fantastical world of Luma. A lot has progressed since then. Life is full of surprises. No doubt.

For all of those who have faved and enjoyed the original Back Stair Street, I hope you get as much pleasure out of this new revisiting. I've enjoyed sharing my work with all of you and chatting with people and hope to for many years to come.
